Summary: R.A. Dickey had a phenomenal year two years ago when he was with the Mets but hasn’t put up the numbers since. He is almost forgotten because his lack luster performance last year. The knuckleballer might have a breakout year but it depends on how sharp he is at the begging of the season. This details on this promotion are phenomenal. The Blue Jays got the beard absolute correct along with his flow (hair). The Blue Jays also chose to have Dickey in a pitching motion which can be risky but it’s executed excellently. The right knee bend, the stepping distance, the grip are all perfect. I know it’s a small detail, but the Blue Jays even have Dickey with a knuckle ball grip because that’s what he’s famous for. I also like how the bobblehead is standing on the mound and how it’s slightly angled down just like an actual mound. The base is the only thing that I don’t like. Well I like it except for the gold background that is behind Dickey’s name. I think it would be much more aesthetically pleasing. You might be asking what about the advertisement that’s in between his legs. Well it’s not an advertisement, it actually says Toronto Blue Jays, with a red maple leaf. This is how all bobbleheads should be executed, take note every other MLB team. This is definitely a game to go to and also you get to see two great ball clubs play.
Note: Advertisement Presence is how much room the advertisement takes up on the promotion. A perfect score (100) is a result of no advertisements on the promotions. A zero is a result of a promotion with only ads and nothing else.
