Summary: This isn’t that uncommon. Last year a few teams did this. I’m trying to recall who but it keeps slipping my mind. I think the Royals did. The White Sox and Rangers also did it last year. It’s just a typical helmet. There isn’t really that much there. The Mets replica batting helmet looks nice and can be used for wiffle ball but probably not for anything more than that. These things break easily. I had a Yankees one and I dropped it and it shattered all over my floor. It was a concrete floor but it still breaks easily. The decals also peel easily so don’t be surprised if your just left with a blue helmet. I think it would be cool if a multiple teams did a jersey give away and a batting give away and a wiffel ball set away. So if you have family or friends in town you could have a wiffel ball game. I mean it sounds weird but it’d be fun. Think about it. If you live in St. Louis get a group of 9 guys to go to each game. So you all get a helmet jersey and bat and ball. You then have your friends come in from Chicago. They bring their Cubs or White Sox stuff. You can have a game with all the same stuff. It’d be all coordinated. It’d be great. Alright who’s with me? Just me? Oh well it was worth a shot. I think that it would be cool.
